TRANSPRTATION : A SHORT HISTORY

We are living in the era which is blessed by science and technology. Our life is grateful to science and technology because these two things gifted us many things that make our life easier and more comfortable. Science and technology brings change in everything that is hard to describe. Such a thing is transportation. When man used to live in cave he depended on his leg. When he came to the light of civilization he was needy for a support that will make his journey comfortable and save his time too. So, he started keeping horse, ass, camel etc as his pet and riding on them. After a few days it become a big question how to carry goods from one place to another. At that time man used his brain to invent cart and wheel. Then it was easy to carry goods. Carts were drawn by horses, cows etc. So, Wheel is an important invention of civilization. It is so important that, there is no substitute for wheels until today. But human being is not satisfied for any moment. The speed of horse made him happy but riding on a horse was not pleasures. There was a lot of jerking while a horse runs. Blow of air and dust made their clothing dirty. For this reason man made carriage. It had roof to protect from sun and rain, doors to enter, windows for fresh air and light. Inside the carriage there were soft and comfortable seats to sit on. Thus transportation problem had a unique solution. Horse-drawn carriage became the popular vehicle for the society. But man didn't stop researching for any moment. This is a nature-gifted virtue that human being is never satisfied with the facilities he has. So, he always try to make something better. This virtue and research helped man to invent engine. 

At first British engineer James Watt invented engine. It was steam engine which gets power from steams. After that total transport system got a huge change. Steam-boat, Steam-ship and steam-rail brought happiness of journey to all kind of people. The far places were close. But the research  was going on and on. Then on a beautiful day fossil fuel engine was invented. The engines use diesel, petrol or gas are generally called fossil fuel engine. Gradually all kind of transport got changed. For public transportation buses stared playing a vital role. Trucks or lorries started their service for carrying goods. For carrying passengers and goods along with a large scale train service was found. 

But these all are public transports. Wat about the ownership of a human being? Though all human are same but they love thinking themselves different from others. For that, they always try to show their uniqueness by using a little different dresses, ornaments etc. A personal vehicle is also a thing which help man to develop his personality and image in public. Keeping this point in front, motor-vehicles industries start introducing personal cars and bikes. A car is for a established man and it has some limitations too. But a bike is more suitable for  someone who wants freedom to go anywhere using a wide or narrow way. Beside that, bike is a symbol for youth. It's speed reminds the energy toughness of young people. So, there is nothing wrong in saying that : A bike/car is not only a vehicle for you, it's your identity and freedom. 

This idea grown up beautifully in American people. All of them want a personal vehicle. When they get ability for having and maintaining it they purchase a car/bike at once. It is not a matter the vehicle is precious or not. Having a personal car or bike is a great joy for them. I hope this condition is not the property for Americans only but every intelligent person care about this.
